When being tube fed, the pump is the electronic device that helps deliver the feed to your body over the recommended amount of time and at the recommended rate. It is easy to use and can be used in the hospital or at home.
Not everyone with a feeding tube needs to be fed using a pump - your Healthcare Professional will advise you on the need.
